Aaria Spices – Finnish Spice Expertise Since 1997
Aaria Mausteet was founded in Finland in 1997 with a passion for creating and developing flavourful, high-quality spice blends. Over the years, we have developed many popular seasonings, including our beloved Mamma Mia minced meat seasoning, which has become a favourite in Finnish home kitchens.
Our expertise in popcorn seasonings dates back to 2011, when we began developing our own unique flavour blends for popcorn. In late 2012, we started collaborating with Finnkino, bringing our popcorn seasonings into the cinema industry. The cooperation later opened doors to the Baltic market, where our seasonings also found their way into movie theatres.
Since then, we have continued developing new flavours and expanding our range of popcorn seasonings. This experience has become an important part of Aaria’s expertise and now also supports our international private label business.
In 2024, we expanded our expertise into French fry seasonings, developing new flavour blends specifically for French fries. Our seasonings have already attracted significant interest from the fast-food industry, including major restaurant chains. This growing demand marks an exciting new chapter in Aaria’s story as we continue bringing Finnish-developed flavours to international markets.
Today, Aaria Mausteet is especially known for our own spice blends, developed and manufactured in Finland. Alongside our popcorn and French fry seasonings, our selection includes a wide range of essential spices, dried herbs, broth powders, sauce powders and baking products, as well as practical kitchen tools.
In August 2024, Aaria Mausteet became part of Satatukku Oy, a Finnish wholesale and import company. Together, we now offer both Aaria’s Finnish-made spices and seasonings and Satatukku’s wide range of imported products.

You can find our spices in well-stocked grocery stores or in our webshop. If your local store doesn’t carry Aaria Spices yet, feel free to request them – we’re always happy to expand our reach. Aaria Spices online shop is part of the Satatukku webshop, so you can also combine your spice order with Satatukku wide selection of sweets, snacks and beverages.
Our handy 330 ml spice jar comes with a practical dispenser cap and is designed for active cooking – no more tiny bags or oversized jars. Of course, our most popular spice blends are also available in a larger 1000 ml jar, perfect for heavy users. In our webshop, you’ll also find our beloved popcorn seasonings, crafted in Finland using our own recipes, as well as our French fry seasonings developed in 2024 to suit the Finnish taste – both available in a 230 ml jar. Our jars have a handy dispenser cap and just the right amount of spice – not too little, not too much.
